Heavy Industry, Site Development and Mining Infrastructure:
Rio Tinto Aluminium Yarwun 2 Refinery, Central Queensland - Stage 2 of this refinery included earthworks, civil, concrete, wharf construction and services packages of works.
Comalco Alumina Refinery, Central Queensland - Stage 1 of the Yarwun refinery included bulk earthworks, structural concrete, dams, wharf and jetty.
Central Queensland Ports Authority (now Gladstone Ports Corporation), Gladstone - Construction of the 3rd coal train Rail Receival Pit unloading facility for the Bowen Basin coal mining export infrastructure.
Kogan Creek Power Station - Earthworks and site infrastructure work for $1.2 billion project.
Gold Coast University Hospital - Bulk earthworks for construction of the new $1.5b hospital.
Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal 7X Expansion Project, Mackay - Several packages of works including bulk earthworks, crushing and screening of site-won materials, and site dams.
RG Tanna Wharf Expansion No 3, Gladstone - Extension of coal wharf by 400m.
Neweipa Wharf Upgrade, Weipa - Extension of the existing wharf by 40m.
Hail Creek Coal Mine, North West Queensland - New coal mine Site development infrastructure.
Townsville Zinc Refinery, North Queensland - Site development including bulk earthworks, dams, roads, drainage and services.
Road, Rail and Transport Projects:
Forgan Bridge Duplication, Mackay - A major Department of Main Roads project consisting of a new 4-lane bridge, 485m long, over the Pioneer River.
Gladstone Regional Airport Reconstruction - Earthworks, drainage and heavy aircraft pavements in a live airside environment.
Kirkwood Road Stage 2, Gladstone - A major arterial road constructed for Gladstone City Council, including a 25m free standing bridge.
University of the Sunshine Coast Bus Station - Civil works project for Translink including the construction of three bus platforms, structures and associated infrastructure.
Scottsdale Drive - Duplication of a road to four lanes, approx 2.5 km long, for Robina Land Corporation on the Gold Coast.
Mains Road Rail Overbridge, Sunnybank - A complex project consisting of lengthening and raising a fully operational 6-lane urban bridge under live rail conditions.
Helensvale to Nerang Rail Line duplication, Queensland Rail - Earthworks, drainage works and construction of bridges.
Nerang to Robina Rail Line duplication, Queensland Rail
Ormeau to Coomera Rail Line duplication, Queensland Rail
Gladstone Port Access Road, Central Queensland - Road and bridge forming a city bypass to the port.
Rail Welding Facility, Yeerongpilly - This Queensland Rail project is for construction of a rail welding facility on a brownfield site beside live rail.
Rail Overbridge, Ebbwvale - Construction of a single-span 35m bridge over live rail to service the 335ha Citiswich Industrial Estate, which was also under construction.
Central Queensland Ports Authority (now Gladstone Ports Corporation), Central Queensland - Third Rail Balloon Loop and signalling for coal train infrastructure, under live conditions.
Golding has built more than 800 km of roads including highways, arterial and haul roads for private and public clients; 250 km of rail and numerous associated multiple span bridges.
