Golding continues to support Queensland’s young people29 April 2009 Golding is once again supporting the development of Queensland’s young people by sponsoring the youth leadership category of the 2009 Regional Achievement and Community Awards. The Awards recognise the achievements of the many businesses, community groups and individuals who work tirelessly to improve the quality of life in rural and regional Queensland. Golding’s CEO and Director, Mr Trevor Davies says that contributing positively and being part of the community in which it works is central to Golding’s business model. “Golding has an impressive record, spanning many decades, of support for community-based events,” Mr Davies says. “Encouraging, recognising and rewarding the endeavours of our young people is an important aspect in the development of tomorrow’s leaders. “Golding hopes that, through our support of this event, we are encouraging and assisting today’s youth to become the community leaders of tomorrow,” he says.
