Health & SafetyOur commitment to the safety of our staff, our clients and the community covers every area of our business. Golding’s safety philosophy delivers a safe and healthy work environment for our extended family of employees, subcontractors, service providers, friends, family and the community that has achieved 3.6 million work hours without a lost-time injury. The National Safety Council of Australia has certified our safety system to NSCA5 Star and SCI-Qual International JAZ-ANZ 4801:2001 for all current sites.
In October 2005 Golding was again recognised for Safety Management in the workplace, receiving a National Award from the National Safety Council of Australia for outstanding performance for a 5 Star Health and Safety System. Our comprehensive safety program reflects our commitment to and value of our people with the foundations for good safety management, strong leadership and teamwork. At Golding we involve our employees in developing and implementing all our safe systems of work.

Golding is a safety practice innovator. Our safety database is a unique program designed to gather and share information from all Golding local and remote work sites across all projects. We have also led the way in developing and implementing industry-specific safety initiatives such as our Back Fit program and research into musculo skeletal fitness.
