As CEO, Geoff is ultimately responsible for all aspects of Golding’s business and implementing the group’s short and long term strategic plans.
Geoff’s background is in operations and project management. Before commencing with Golding as the Civil General Manager in 2006, he held various operational leadership roles in the Bowen Basin in Queensland. These included project management roles, with both a leading Australian mining contractor and one of the largest global mining companies.
Geoff holds an undergraduate qualification in Civil Engineering and Economics and post-graduate qualifications in Management.
CFO & Company Secretary
As CFO, Jeff is responsible for financial reporting and management of financial risk. In addition, Jeff is involved in the development of group strategy, stakeholder management, business development and supply chain management.
Following a career in corporate finance and investment banking, Jeff was also CFO of an ASX200 company prior to joining Golding in 2011.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours and is a Chartered Accountant, a Corporate Financier and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Directors.
General Manager Civil (Australia)
As General Manager Civil (Australia), Brenton’s role involves the leadership and management of all of the group’s civil projects and associated bidding activities in Australia, ensuring that Golding safely delivers projects ahead of client expectations.
Brenton is passionate about establishing relationships with clients and stakeholders. He is focused on minimizing cost and maximizing efficiency and value for money on all projects.
Brenton is an experienced Civil Engineer. Prior to joining Golding, Brenton held executive roles in two leading engineering construction companies where he successfully led the businesses through significant growth and development.
Brenton holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours as well as a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
General Manager Urban
As General Manager Urban, Dan is responsible for our growing Urban division. Since joining Golding in 2002, Dan has held senior roles, including Project Manager, across a number of major residential development projects such as Sovereign Islands and Sanctuary Cove.
Dan’s responsive, amenable and flexible approach to client engagement has been instrumental in building strong relationships with some of Australia’s most iconic property developers, including, Mirvac, Stockland and Sunland. Dan is committed to maintaining Golding’s enviable reputation in the urban sector and to expanding Golding’s footprint in SE Queensland.
Dan has an undergraduate qualification in Civil Engineering.
General Manager Civil (Pacific)
As General Manager Civil (Pacific), Ken provides strategic and operational direction across Golding’s projects in PNG and the Pacific region, as well as identifying and leading bids to win new contracts for the company.
Currently Ken is busy establishing Golding’s first contracts in PNG and building teams to work across other areas of the Pacific.
Ken has more than 35 years of experience in senior roles in the civil construction sector and has been responsible for project teams in both design and construction for contracts including roads and highways, bridges, LNG infrastructure, marine infrastructure, energy, and other civil engineering areas. His career in civil infrastructure began when he worked as the site engineer on the Trans Iran Highway project in southeast Iran. Subsequently he has worked in UK, Malaysia, Sudan, Libya, France, Sweden, Indonesia, Australia and PNG.
General Manager Mining
As General Manager Mining, Dylan is focused on maximising value for our clients through delivering safe and efficient productivity. In addition to our existing mining projects, Dylan is excited to be growing our footprint in mining through our increasing range of capabilities, coupled with our innovative and flexible approach.
Since joining Golding in 2002, Dylan has held several senior mining roles, including Project Manager. He has a proven ability to develop productive and beneficial relationships with clients, assisting them to succeed despite the challenges of the sector.
General Manager HR & Safety
As General Manager – HR and Safety, Mark leads the development, implementation, monitoring and governance of contemporary systems to manage HR, Safety & Health, Environmental and Training across the business.
Mark has a keen interest in the impact that Systems, Symbols, Leadership and Behavior have on safe work practices and business outcomes.
Before commencing with Golding in 2008, he held various HR and Employee Relations leadership roles in the private sector, including with two major mining and civil contractors and with one of Australia’s peak industry associations.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Business qualification, majoring in Organisational Psychology and Industrial Relations.
General Manager, Business Systems
As General Manager – Business Systems, Scott Caton leads the integration and adoption of contemporary business technology and processes to improve our operational practice.
Scott is passionate about safety. Before commencing with Golding in 2008, he held safety leadership roles in the public and private sectors, including a major mining, civil and building contractor and a mining house.
Scott holds an undergraduate qualification in Physiotherapy and post-graduate qualifications in Management and Safety.
As General Counsel, Carita Martinez manages the provision of legal services for Golding. Working closely with each business unit and other internal stakeholders, Carita aims to provide a practical solutions-driven service that positions Golding as an organisation that others wish to do business with.
Before working at Golding, Carita worked in senior commercial roles in the telecoms industry in the UK and the US (primarily in the business of construction at that time) and as a lawyer in both the public sector and private practice. Carita also serves as a non-executive director of GIVIT (givit.org.au).
Carita holds a Bachelor of Law.
General Manager Plant
As General Manager – Plant, Peter Cameron leads the Plant and Maintenance teams and develops and integrates the Asset Management systems and processes to improve our operational performance.
Supporting both Mining and Civil projects, Peter is responsible for the deployment of equipment and its safe and effective management that drives performance improvement and reducing total cost of ownership.
Before commencing with Golding in 2011, Peter held senior leadership positions with mining equipment manufacturers (OEM) and suppliers to the mining industry. He was also Operations Manager with a major maintenance contractor serving the resources, industrial and defence sectors across Australia.
Peter has an MBA, Post Graduate qualifications in both Management and Maintenance Management, an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering and is an Electrician by trade.
