Bundaberg NDRRA

This project was in response to the January 2013 rains from ex-Tropical Cyclone Oswald that severely affected the Bundaberg Region causing widespread floods and significant damage to local infrastructure. Due to the fast-tracked nature of the project, at contract award, the actual scope of works was uncertain. As a result, the works were released intermittently on a site-by-site basis once fully scoped by the project team.

The works were spread across 686 sites covering a geographical area of more than 3,000km2 in both rural and urban environments presenting logistical and organisational challenges that Golding managed successfully.
