Serenity Cove
In late 2015 Golding Urban was engaged by Sime Darby to carry out bulk earthworks across 11 stages on their prestigious Serenity Cove Project. Works included construction of canals, revetment walls and a marine navigational lock.
The works were delivered in 3 separable portions:
- Navigational Lock No. 3
- Phase 5 Bulk Earthworks and Preload
- Stages 16 and 17 Civil Works.
Engagement of Golding on this contract followed on from our Urban team’s strong performance on previous bulk earthworks contracts for the site.
Golding successfully proposed a number of non-conforming alternative design solutions for the navigational lock that reduced complexity, costs and construction duration. These were critical to the client’s decision to work with Golding.
