The Haven
Golding were contracted by Stockland in November 2018 to undertake bulk earthworks and civils on The Haven which is the final land release at their Augustine Heights project.
The project delivered 40 residential allotments and 1.5 hectares of parkland. The scope of works included bulk earthworks across a sloping terrain, retaining walls, underground services, internal roadways, widening of Keidges Road, electrical reticulation and landscaping.
During the project, Golding resolved major conflict between new triple cell culverts and existing 600 diameter steel water main with a design and construct solution that included screw piers and concrete bridging slabs. This was done in conjunction with QUU and included planning and coordination of shut downs during the works.
